To identify my subject I tried some painting on card. It was a great experiment to mix colours and try to find a solution to recreate the colours in my photographs

I moved onto a bigger scale but while PVA-ing a sheet, it seeped through onto the wall. Both the paint and the glue left some interesting marks on the wall but I decided to paint over this these marks with white paint to salvage my studio wall.

I tried painting on some plastic which I had left over from my materials project. I preferred the reverse side because it was far more subtle.
