 I layered saturated paint and inverted the canvas as I painted for a less dense look on this painting. This captured the spiritual essence of my photographs more accurately than putting paint directly onto the canvas. I used a lighter weave material on the painting below so sunlight would be able to shine through the material.

I printed the photographs on acetate. I found them to be the most effective part of my work because the material used was translucent. I over lapped the acetates because I found it interesting that the under layered ones were still revealed.


I finished this project on a high note. Assessments are occurring this week so all the work is done now. Happy HOLIDAYS Everyone!!
