Experimentations...

I tried lots of different methods to interpret my photos. The Spanish Artist, Tapies, influenced me to try plaster. However, all I found was that I enjoyed mixing the plaster more than the finished pieces. I mixed in some paint with the plaster for colour. This part worked well.

I tried using washing up liquid. I got this idea from looking at the cars' dirt marks and envisaging what would remove dirt. It wasn't that effective on the white paper but it is an interesting medium and I could create marks in it easily.
These are some photocopies of the marks on cars blown up. The marks changed into something very effective. I places two of them together and they complimented each other well as one's eye continuously bounces from one to the other.
These were some coffee marks on grey paper... When the coffee was spilt, it left uncontrolled marks...

I used red plastice and paint between two sheets to create marks. The front (below) created what I typically thought it would but the reverse side of the plastic (above) I discovered to be far more interesting...

My preferred medium so far is spray paint which Tauba Auerbach uses in her work. I used stencils influenced by the photocopies to make marks with the spray paint...
